Tomorrow on Valentine’s Day hundreds of couples with gather at the Fountain Park Amphitheater (12925 N. Saguaro Blvd ) to renew their wedding vows. Already there have been over 600 couples that have signed up and hoping to break the Guinness Book of World Records held on June 20th in Miami when 1087 joined together for the renewal ceremony.
Sami’s Fine Jewelry is heading up the event with other local business such as Wedding planner and local florist Jerrod Alcaida from Nonny’s who will be offering his services, Sara Goodnick Photography will be taking romantic photos of all couples and Fort McDowell Casino is throwing the after party at the Casino.
This event is free for all couples. All “Love in the Hills” vow renewal attendees will automatically be included in a drawing to win a big prize basket. The winning couple will receive a new set of wedding bands from Sami Fine Jewelry, a three-night stay at the Radisson Hotel at Fort McDowell, a portrait session from Sara Goodnick Photography, a grand floral arrangement from Nonny’s, and a relationship coaching certificate from Larry James along with a signed copy of his book, and many more gifts from local businesses. Gift baskets will be given away to the couple that traveled the furthest, the “youngest couple”, the couple that has been married the longest and the 1088th couple which would break the previous number of attendees for the Guinness Book of World Records.
